Air Force Kills Ground Soldiers After Mistaking Them For Boko Haram (VIDEO)

No less than 20 Nigerian soldiers were killed by a Nigerian Airforce jet after it mistook them for Boko Haram fighters in Mainok, Borno State on Sunday.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria gathered that the soldiers killed were reinforced from Ngandu village were on their way to Mainok in Kaga Local Government Area which was under attack by the insurgents.

However, the reinforcement team were bombed by a Nigerian Airforce jet in the town according to a military source. The fighter jet was said to have mistaken them for Boko Haram elements as both had similar military uniforms and vehicles.

 

“The Boko Haram terrorists disguised in military uniform and gained access to the camp. They came in different groups and could not be counted. The Nigerian Army were pinned down, they requested for reinforcement, the reinforcement got on their way only to get smoked by the Nigerian Airforce.”

 

 

“The (reinforcement team) was coming from Ngandu and were killed by an airstrike. The Air Force mistook them for Boko Haram as both were added in similar military uniform and operational vehicles,”
