Newsonline Nigeria reports that the results from Matchday Two of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers are in, with Senegal claiming a narrow 1-0 win over Burundi at the Bingu National Stadium in Malawi.

Ismaïla Sarr of Crystal Palace netted a second-half penalty to secure the victory for Senegal.

Senegal has moved to the top of Group L with four points from two matches following their 1-0 win over Burundi.
In another Monday fixture, Equatorial Guinea and Togo played to a 2-2 draw.

•Equatorial Guinea 2-2 Togo
•Madagascar 1-1 Comoros
•Niger 1-1 Ghana
•Uganda 2-0 Congo
•Angola 2-1 Sudan
•Ethiopia 0-2 DR Congo
•Lesotho 0-1 Morocco
The remaining Matchday Two games will take place today.
