{"id":19102,"date":"2021-10-29T22:47:13","date_gmt":"2021-10-29T21:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsonlineng.com\/?p=19102"},"modified":"2021-10-29T22:47:13","modified_gmt":"2021-10-29T21:47:13","slug":"breaking-efcc-speaks-on-carrying-out-operation-in-justice-odili-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsonlineng.com\/breaking-efcc-speaks-on-carrying-out-operation-in-justice-odili-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking: EFCC Speaks On Carrying Out Operation In Justice Odili House"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><h4><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newsonlineng.com\/emerging-facts-on-how-efcc-petition-led-to-abok-ayuba-impeachment\/\">EFCC<\/a> has spoken on alleged operation in Justice Odili House.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newsonlineng.com\/\">Newsonline<\/a><\/strong> understands that reports emanated earlier suggesting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, carried out operation in Justice Odili\u2019s home, Head Media &amp; Publicity, of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, Friday night condemned the report, noting that none of the officers of the commission carried out an operation in Justice Odili\u2019s home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to an Online media not (<strong>NEWSONLINE NIGERIA<\/strong>), the commission officers were said to have gone to the judge\u2019s home to execute a search warrant as part of investigations into her husband, Peter Odili, who is a former Governor of Rivers State.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In his statement titled: \u201cEFCC Did Not Carry Out Any Operation in Justice Odili\u2019s Home\u201d, the commission said: \u201cThe attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been drawn to claims in a section of the media that operatives of the Commission today, October 29, 2021 stormed the Maitama, Abuja home of a Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Mary Odili, purportedly to execute a search.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Commission by this statement wishes to inform the public that the report is false as it did not carry out any operation at the home of Justice Odili.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there was any such operation as claimed by the media, it was not carried out by the EFCC.
