Wike has ordered revocation of 1,095 lands in FCT, affecting Ministers, Former Governors, and Key Institutions.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has revoked ownership of 1,095 properties in Abuja after the owners allegedly failed to pay required land charges. The decision, approved by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, was announced in a statement by the Department of Land Administration.

The enforcement followed a 14-day grace period that ended on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Of the affected properties, 835 owners failed to pay ground rent, while 260 did not complete land use conversion payments. The published list included plot numbers, districts, amounts owed, and the effective dates of revocation.
