NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük has explained why Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is unlikely to join his compatriot Victor Osimhen at the Turkish club during the January transfer window.

Reports have recently linked Galatasaray with a potential move for Lookman ahead of the winter window.

The Nigerian forward, Ademola Lookman, reportedly wants a salary of €9 million per year to join Galatasaray.

Speaking on SkySport’s YouTube channel, Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük explained that the Turkish champions are unlikely to complete the signing due to the high demands from both Atalanta and the player himself.

“A transfer for Ademola Lookman is out of the question. Atalanta’s asking price for him is €60 million,” Küçük said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“The player’s salary demand is €9 million per year. Galatasaray only paid that kind of money for Victor Osimhen.

“So, it’s not possible. A move for Lookman to Galatasaray is very unlikely.”
