We 'ill 2023 Election By Hook Or Crook- APC Leadership Boasts In Kano

The leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano State Chapter has boasted that the ruling party will win the 2023 election either by hook or by crook means.

 

Newsonline reports that the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Abdullahi Abbas, said though there have been attacks on his stand that the APC will win the 2023 elections both in Kano and the presidency, he stands by what he said.

 

Abbas who said this at the flag off of the party’s gubernatorial campaign held in Gaya, Abbas stated that the APC, being the party leading the state, cannot be defeated.

 

Abbas said, “People are saying that I should stop saying the APC would capture Kano by hook or crook. I want to tell this gathering that the APC would capture Kano by hook or crook. We have today demonstrated our resolve to win the election from top to bottom come the year 2023.

 

“Gaya, as you know, is the home of APC; no political party can match our strength and our crowd. We are determined to take the bull by the horn in maintaining our dominance. Gawuna is our candidate and is going to be the next Governor of Kano State.

 

“We have made all the necessary preparations, the colourful event where our gubernatorial candidate would receive his flag from the President who would be here in Kano for the purpose of giving him the flag.”

The gubernatorial candidate of the party, who also is the current deputy governor, Nasiru Yusif said he is battle ready to ensure his victory and the APC candidates at all levels.

 

Nasiru said knowing that he has the firm support of the current governor Abdullahi Ganduje, he has nothing to fear.

 

Nasiru Yusif said, “I want to believe that my destiny is in the hands of God and that I have no iota of doubt with God’s will nothing would stop me from winning the race. Our party still remains formidable and vibrant and we are also willing to remain steadfast in the face of all odds.”

 

Kano State is a stronghold state of the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

 

Kwankwaso has consistently led the voting percentage of the commercial capital of Northern Nigeria and the biggest city by population in the whole North West geo-political zone of the country.

 

The APC presidential candidate, Tinubu, is also banking on the support of the incumbent governor of Kano state, Umar Ganduje to deliver the state for party in the 2023 election.
