Newsonline reports that Debo Adedayo, known as Mr. Macaroni called on youths to consider poverty, lack of jobs, fuel scarcity, insecurity and vote wisely.
The duo made the call ahead of the 2023 general election that will be held in February.
Debo Adedayo made the statement in reaction to his fans who are demanding his preferred candidate for the 2023 general election.
Mr Macaroni enumerated the ASUU strike, lack of jobs, fuel scarcity, kidnappings, and corrupt and lawless people in government for his fans as what should guide their choice of candidate and not ethnic belonging or religion.
Mr Macaroni said, “ASUU Strike, Killings, Kidnappings, Fuel Scarcity, Poverty, Bad Economy, Inflation, Armed Robbery, Police Brutality, Oppression, Abuse of Power, Corrupt and Lawless people in Government, Lack of Job opportunities for the people, NO ONE SHOULD BE BEGGING YOU TO VOTE WISELY!!!!”
The Human Rights Activist Aisha, called on youths to note that Igbo have already learned how to survive hard times through their civil war experience.
Aisha said, “Voting for Peter Obi is not voting for Igbo people. It is voting for competence. Saying you will show Igbo people is laughable. If there is one tribe that has prepared itself for the worst Nigeria can be, it is the Igbos. They faced the atrocious side of Nig during Biafran war.”
