According to the latest update from VFS Global, the Priority Visa (PV) and Super Priority Visa (SPV) services can now be purchased offline at their visa Application Centre prior to submitting your biometrics.

Previously, the PV and SPV services could only be purchased online during the appointment booking process and not in the Visa Application Centre.

Update to UK Priority Visa Services for new study and sponsored work applications

Where available, new customers applying for these routes have the option to select Priority Visa (PV) and Super Priority (SPV) appointments as part of their online journey. We are pleased to inform you that these services can now be purchased online and at the Visa Application Centre before submitting your biometrics. Please note that PV and SPV cannot be purchased retrospectively.

UK Priority Visa Services

It must be noted that beginning on August 12, the United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI) reintroduced Priority services for new customers applying to the sponsored work routes (including global talent) and for students.

According to the VFS website, customers applying for new study and sponsored work visas from Australia, China, the Middle East, South Asia, North America, and South America will now be able to opt for PV (Priority Visa) and SPV (Super Priority Visa) appointments.

The VFS Global also said that the number of Priority Visa and Super Priority Visa appointments available has not decreased. Notably, the VFS reduced the volume of PV appointments on July 15 to allow UKVI to process more standard applications and gradually reduce the overall processing time for all customers.

Message from British High Commissioner to India

Last week, Alex Ellis, the British High Commissioner shared a video message on Twitter and advises Indian students to apply for their visas as soon as possible with the necessary documentation.

“Students and visas, the UK is an amazing place to go and study, and that why we are our own records, for the number of student visas which we have issued globally until June 2022. This coming academic year with you will get even more and India is number one source country of students coming to the UK.”

“If you want to, you can apply for the priority visa which gets you there with a turnaround of about five days or a super priority visa even quicker than that,” he further added.
