Real Madrid celebrated Cristiano Ronaldo’s 900th career goal, marking another milestone in his legendary football career.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Real Madrid has extended its congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo, who has reached the remarkable milestone of 900 goals for club and country.

Ronaldo, a former key player for Los Blancos, achieved this feat during Portugal’s UEFA Nations League opener against Croatia in Lisbon on Thursday.

Following Diogo Dalot’s goal in the seventh minute, Ronaldo concluded a five-game scoreless streak for Portugal with his landmark goal.

With that goal, Ronaldo became the first player to score 900 career goals.

Ronaldo played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018.

In a tweet congratulating him, Real Madrid said (translated from Spanish), “Another historic achievement: 900 goals in the professional career of one of the greatest legends of Real Madrid and world football.

“Congratulations, dear and esteemed @Cristiano! Real Madrid and its fans are always proud of you.”
