Newsonline Nigeria reports that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is thrilled after netting his first goal for Lazio in Serie A.
The Nigeria international scored during Lazio’s 3-0 victory over Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday night. In addition to his goal, Dele-Bashiru also provided an assist in the match, showcasing his impressive performance.
“I’m thrilled to have scored my first goal in front of our fans,” he said in an interview with the Lazio Style Channel.
“Getting off to a strong start was essential, and I’m pleased with how well I connect with Boulaye Dia on the pitch.
“I feel at home with this team; everyone has been supportive, helping me settle in and continually improve.”
The 23-year-old joined Lazio this summer after transferring from Turkish Super Lig club Hatayaspor.
