Senator Ned Nwoko has broken his silence and alleged Regina Daniels’ outburst is linked to drug and alcohol abuse.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Senator Ned Nwoko has spoken out following the circulation of a viral video showing his wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, appearing distressed and agitated during a confrontation.

In a detailed Instagram post and short video shared on his handle @princenednwoko on Sunday, the senator claimed Regina’s recent behaviour was the result of drug and alcohol abuse, describing her actions as “unprovoked carnage” influenced by substance use.

“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem.
She must continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety,” Nwoko stated.

The senator further alleged that the actress went on a violent rampage at their residence in his absence, assaulting staff members and damaging property.

“She slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.
Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs,” he alleged.

Nwoko added that he had proposed two rehabilitation options for Regina one in Asokoro, Abuja, and another in Jordan to help her overcome addiction.

He also accused some of Regina’s close associates of being drug suppliers, claiming they fueled her relapse.

“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier.
Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” he wrote.

His post followed reports by NewsOnline on Saturday, which shared a viral clip of Regina Daniels visibly upset, shouting during a confrontation.

In the video, the actress could be heard saying:

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

The situation has sparked widespread public concern and online debate.

Reacting to the development, Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman (popularly known as Sammy West), accused Nwoko of assaulting his sister and vowed to defend her.
