Residential Building Collapses In Rivers

Popular Residential Building has collapsed in Rivers.

Newsonline reports that one person was reported dead, while two others were injured after a residential building collapsed in Woji, on the outskirts of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Both the dead and injured persons were said to be working on the building when the incident occurred.

Eyewitnesses said that the incident might have been triggered by the recent severe floods in Port Harcourt and its environs.

One of the survivors said that the building had “integrity issues” and that workers were carrying out some reinforcement work when the building collapsed.
