Peter Obi has Appointed a new special adviser on Public Affairs

 

Newsonline reports that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has appointed, Katch Ononuju, an economist and public commentator as his Special Adviser on Public Affairs.

The Director General (DG) of the Obi-Yusuf Baba-Ahmed Datti Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, made this announcement on Friday evening, POLITICS NIGERIA reports.

Ononuju was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Katch Ononuju, politician, economist, historian, public affairs commentator, distinguished scholar, and currently, Director-General of the Heritage Centre in Abuja has be appointed Special Adviser to HE Peter Obi on Public Affairs,” Okupe’s statement reads.

Meanwhile, the Peter Obi supporter have continued to grow beyinf the shores of Nigeria, as it witnessed in a recent display of a Tanzanian LP supporter, identified as OGersh, who ascended Mount Kilimanjaro, for 10 and a half hours to mount the party’s flag at Uhuru Peak.

 

Uhuru Peak is the highest point of the mountain and the highest point in Africa.

OGersh shared a video and picture of himself at Uhuru Peak, next to the Labour Party flag on Tuesday.

 

In the video, he said: “I am doing this, and it took me a lot of pain. I took risks to get here. I had been climbing this Kilimanjaro since 11 p.m. yesterday, and we just got here; it is about 9.30 in the afternoon now. That is the price I pay; that is the thing I give so that we have a new Nigeria. I want my children and grandchildren to enjoy what I enjoyed in Nigeria, not what is currently happening”
