Abia Warriors coach Imama Amapakabo called the recent draw with Sunshine Stars a tough match, highlighting the resilience his team needed to secure a point in the NPFL.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the draw against Sunshine Stars was labeled tough by Abia Warriors head coach Imama Amapakabo.

On Sunday, the Umuahia-based team played to a 0-0 stalemate at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

Amapakabo commended his players for their discipline and focus during the match.

“Securing another point away, despite the challenges,” he shared with Abia Warriors media.

“I believe we maintained our composure and organization throughout the match.

Now, we need to focus on improving our ability to convert the chances we’ve been creating.”
