Nengi has denied being pregnant for Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Reality TV star Rebecca Hampson, known as Nengi, has publicly addressed the ongoing rumours that she is allegedly pregnant for the married governor of Bayelsa state, Douye Diri.
Taking to social media, Nengi dismissed the claims, stating, “As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits. So let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any governor.”

The speculation, originally spread by a controversial blogger Gistlover, suggested that Nengi had secretly welcomed a child fathered by a governor who already has four wives.
However, Nengi firmly denied the allegations, stating that the situation affects not just her but also those she holds in high regard.
“I’ve chosen to speak because this isn’t just an attack on me; it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life to be turned into something ugly,” she stated.
In a final message, Nengi confirmed her pregnancy but insisted on maintaining her privacy.
“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE, I wish y’all love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
