Job Title: Fish Farm Manager

Basic Job Description
The farm manager’s responsibilities include monitoring staff, and livestock, planning, directing, or coordinating the management or operation of the farm.
Supervise farm workers or contract for services to carry out the day-to-day activities of the managed operation.
Analyzing existing operations, crops, livestock, and staff, and recommending improvements.
Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, and livestock.
Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
Assisting with the training of new staff members.
Maintain all Farm Assets in a good state of repair and ensure that they are only used for farm purposes unless authorized by the Directors.
Keeping detailed logbooks of all consumables and machinery
Ensure that building and other materials are kept neat and that excess material is removed.
Ensure that the general appearance of the farm is upheld in a manner befitting a model farm.
Requirements
OND or HND/BSc candidates with related Agricultural educational background may have added advantage with 5 years experience in Fisheries Farm Management
Extensive experience in a farming-related field Management experience would be a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
