“President Buhari receives Pastor Tunde Bakare in State House on 15th Oct 2021,” Adesina captioned the photos.

Recall that following the current state of the nation, the renowned clergy had called for a change of guards which according to him, means fresh hands in the system.

Pastor Bakare claimed that those around the president are tired of the situation, hence, the need for capable hands.

According to sources, the meeting is not unconnected with recent calls by Bakare for a change of guard in the country in which many interpreted as a call for a coup.

“Everyone looks tired around the President and we need a change of guards to bring competent people to handle critical issues,” he had called.

He however pointed out that, “I’m not advocating coup d’etat, God forbid; that will set us back by many years again. Military coup landed us in the trouble we are.”

The latest visit to the president, a source told the Whistler, “certainly, was not a routine visit but one aimed at clarifying that change of guard position because it’s a sensitive matter.

“A change of guard simply means coup because there’s no other way than a coup since elections to produce the next president is more than a year away.”
