Another defection blow landed on the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers State as the state chapter Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone, Friday (today) confirmed his defection to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Newsonline reports that Chris Finebone, a strong critic of Governor Wike of Rivers State and an ally of the Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amechi, said his defection was true.
The former APC spokesman however stated that his reasons for defection to the opposition PDP will be made known later.

Finebone was seen in a photograph posing with Governor Wike, in front of the latter’s private residence along Ara George in Port Harcourt, alongside the state PDP governorship candidate, Fubara Siminialaye, as well as a former chairman of the APC, Chief Davies Ikanya, who is also in the PDP.
Confirming his defection on Friday morning, Finebne said, ”Yes, it is true. That was yesterday,” but said the reason for his action would be made known much later.
