Joe Igbokwe has underestimated Peter Obi and named Tinubu’s 2027 only opposition figure.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe has claimed that former vice president, Atiku Abubakar is the only visible opposition figure battling to oust President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Igbokwe, a staunch supporter of president Tinubu made the claim on Tuesday in a post on his official Facebook page.

He said though Atiku is the only person challenging Tinubu, his ambition has been crushed by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

He wrote, “The only person that is challenging PBAT in the 2027 Elections is Atiku Abubakar but unfortunately his former Boss & former President Olusegun Obasanjo has crushed and nailed his reputation in his Book: My Watch .It is what it is”.

However, it appears that the APC chieftain has underestimated the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi who garnered over 6 million votes in the 2023 election.

He also failed to acknowledge the influence of Kwankwasiyya movement on northern voters.
