IGP Baba has banned wealthy Nigerians from using tinted window cars.

 

News Online reports that the Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali Baba has ordered the immediate suspension of tinted vehicle windscreens in Nigeria.

The IGP, News Online understands gave the order this on Monday during a meeting with senior police officers drawn from parts of the country.

Those in attendance at the meeting include Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs), Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGs) and Commissioners of Police (CPs).

 

The IGP insisted that vehicular patrol would remain the only strategic policing means instead of roadblocks.

He also spoke on the need for the senior police officers to ensure discipline in their various commands.
