Primate Ayodele has stated that Gumi is a Taliban trying to use Wike to cause a religious crisis in Nigeria.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has described controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, as a Taliban in Nigeria.

This Nigeria news platform understands that Primate Ayodele said Gumi wants to use the issue with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, to cause a religious crisis in Nigeria.

In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho made available to Newsonline Nigeria, Ayodele said the Islamic scholar needs to undergo medical checks because, with his unguarded statements, it’s obvious all is not well with him.

According to Ayodele: ‘’People like Gumi are evil forces that can destabilize Nigeria, the man is up to something. President Tinubu must do everything necessary to stop this menace from ruining the country.

‘’I see no difference between Gumi and the Taliban, he is another Nigerian Taliban. I think he needs to undergo an MRI scan. He shouldn’t use Wike’s issue to start religious crisis in the country.’’

Gumi had called for Wike’s removal as FCT Minister after the former governor received an Israeli envoy in Abuja and discussed plans to collaborate with Israel in the area of security.

The Islamic scholar had described Wike as a satanic person, adding that Christians should not be trusted with the security of the country.
