Google has quoted Naira to Dollar Exchange at ₦1,247 to $1.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that global search engine platform, Google has listed the Naira/Dollar rate as ₦1,247 to $1.

This is the first time the platform has listed the Naira/Dollar rate below 1,250 in 2024.

One of the reactions to this has come from social commentator, Reno Omokri, who took to his X account to announce this.

He wrote: “Happening Right Now: Google lists Dollar to Naira as ₦1,247 to $1. This is the first time that Google has listed the Naira to Dollar exchange rate as under ₦1,250.

 

“#GrowNairaBuyNaija is working. And the more you and I continue patronising made-in-Nigeria goods and services, the more the Naira will increase in value.”
