FirstBank Partners Verve to Offer Free Debit Cards, Extends Good Life Promo Nationwide

Both FirstBank and Verve reaffirmed that these initiatives align with their shared mission to deepen financial inclusion and enhance customer experience through technology-driven solutions.

FirstBank has partnered Verve to offer Free Debit Cards and extended Good Life Promo Nationwide.

In a new drive to reward customers and promote financial inclusion, First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank) has launched the Verve Flash Promo, in partnership with Verve International, offering free Verve debit cards to customers across the country.

The initiative, which kicked off on October 6, 2025, will run until January 30, 2026, and targets FirstBank customers with expired ATM cards. Every day, 131 customers will receive free Verve cards on a first-come, first-served basis at the bank’s branches nationwide, a move that highlights FirstBank’s focus on convenience, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.

Speaking on the campaign, Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive, e-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said:

“The Verve Flash Promo is not just about giving out free debit cards; it celebrates our 131-year legacy of trust, innovation, and resilience. Partnering with Verve allows us to reward our customers while enhancing their payment experience through secure, seamless, and accessible solutions.”

On his part, Vincent Ogbunude, Managing Director of Verve International, reaffirmed the brand’s dedication to customer reward and inclusivity:

“Through this collaboration with FirstBank, we are reinforcing our commitment to make payments simpler and more rewarding for every Nigerian. The Flash Promo and the extension of the Good Life Promo demonstrate our shared goal of financial empowerment and value creation for Verve cardholders.”

Meanwhile, Verve’s Good Life Promo which rewards cardholders for using their Verve debit cards at select merchants has been extended to November 30, 2025.

During the extended campaign, Verve users will enjoy:

  • 10% cashback every Thursday to Sunday at The Place Restaurant, Quickteller, Buypower, Filmhouse, AlliExpress, Addide Supermarkets, and Chowdeck app.

  • 10% cashback on Google Play Store purchases any day of the week.

  • Automatic entry into a ₦1,000,000 grand reward draw for every Verve card transaction made via ATM, POS, or online platforms.

Both FirstBank and Verve reaffirmed that these initiatives align with their shared mission to deepen financial inclusion and enhance customer experience through technology-driven solutions.
