FG has moved to revamp N-Power to boost youth employment and small businesses.

In a bold move to enhance youth empowerment and economic growth, President Bola Tinubu has initiated a comprehensive reform of the N-Power program.

The overhaul aims to equip young Nigerians with practical skills that lead to real job opportunities, particularly in the private sector.

Dada Olusegun, the President’s Special Assistant on Social Media, revealed the development, emphasizing that the revamped program will not only provide training but also establish direct links between participants and the market.

To support this initiative, over 100,000 work-related materials have been procured to facilitate job placements and business startups.

As part of this transformation, President Tinubu has allocated ₦32.7 billion for the National Social Investment Program in 2025.

This funding will introduce cooperative clusters, offering low-interest loans between ₦300,000 and ₦400,000 to help aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners scale their ventures.

The reform aligns with the administration’s #RenewedHope agenda, designed to uplift vulnerable groups—especially women and youth—by providing financial support and sustainable business opportunities.

With these measures, the government seeks to ease economic hardships and empower more Nigerians to achieve financial independence.
