FG Approves Recruitment of 30,000 New Police Officers

Madori added that the Police Service Commission will announce the recruitment process through national newspapers and cautioned Nigerians to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudsters.

FG has approves recruitment of 30,000 new police officers.

 

NewsOnline Nigeriareports that the Nigerian Senate has confirmed the approval for the recruitment of 30,000 additional youths into the Nigeria Police Force.

 

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Senator Ahmad Abdulhamid Malam Madori, who represents Jigawa North East, disclosed this to journalists in his office.

According to him, the Police Service Commission has been granted the go-ahead to carry out the recruitment as part of efforts by the Federal Government to address existing manpower shortages and enhance policing across the country.

 

He further revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved this yearly recruitment initiative to steadily fill gaps in the Force.

 

Madori added that the Police Service Commission will announce the recruitment process through national newspapers and cautioned Nigerians to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
