FCCPC has stormed Abuja Chinese Supermarket over discriminatory policy against Nigerian shoppers.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Competition and Consumer and Protection Commission (FCCPC) has stormed an Abuja-based Chinese supermarket located at the China General Chamber of Commerce.

This Nigeria news platform recalls that earlier on Sunday, April 21, netizens expressed outrage over a discriminatory policy implemented by the Chinese Supermarket which limited entry exclusively to its citizens and prohibited Nigerians.

According to the property manager of the complex, Shaibu Sanusi, Nigerians from outside the complex cannot shop there but Nigerians within can access it.

While the supermarket remains shut, the consumer protection agency seems to believe that some people are hiding inside in a bid to avoid confrontation with the agency.
