#EkitiDecides2022: APC Guber Candidate Caught Buying Vote

Biodun Oyebanji, All Progressive Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate for the Ekiti election has been caught on camera offering money to a voter.

 

Newsonline reports that Biodun Oyebanji who is one of the major contenders for the Ekiti State gubernatorial election, under the platform of APC, was caught giving money to an older woman in the voting center.

 

The offering of money caught the eyes of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polling agents, and other voters who raised the alarm at the vote-buying.

The opposition party, PDP, took to their Twitter handle to report the electoral act offense of Biodun Oyebanji in the polling center.

 

While Newsonline could not independently ascertain the polling center at press time, PDP in their official Twitter handle called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, the Nigeria Police, and the general public to take note of the electoral offense.

 

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, wrote, “#EkitiDecides2022 #LiveUpdate- Caught in the act…Ouebanji, the @OfficialAPCNg Gubernatorial Candidate in the ongoing Guber Election in Ekiti state giving money to an electorate. @inecnigeriaand @PoliceNG, please take note.”
