Senator Jonathan Zwingina is reportedly dead.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that a former Senate Majority leader, Jonathan Zwingina has reportedly passed on.

 

This has not been formally confirmed by the family but dependable sources disclosed that the Adamawa State-born politician died on Wednesday, October 2, in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

The source described his demise as a great loss to the Nungurala people, Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole.

 

Senator Jonathan Zwingina was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party who represented Adamawa Southern Senatorial District two terms (1999-2007) but later defected to the All Progressives Congress.

 

He turned 70 years about two months ago, August 2024
