BREAKING: President Tinubu Reportedly Taking Nigeria 100 Years Back

“In law, we say you cannot build something on nothing. The last administration [of Buhari] took this country like 50 years back. The present administration, I think, is trying to take us like 100 years back.

A PDP Chieftain has accused President Tinubu of reportedly taking Nigeria 100 years back.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Tony Okeke, has labelled former President, Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as a monumental disaster.

Okeke, during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, criticised the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and that of his predecessor, Buhari.

Okeke claims Tinubu and Buhari have taken the country backwards, stressing that the 2023 election would have been the easiest poll for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win.

While blaming his party for its loss in that exercise, the PDP chieftain said Nigerians were fed up because the All Progressives Congress had nothing to offer.

He said, “In law, we say you cannot build something on nothing. The last administration [of Buhari] took this country like 50 years back. The present administration, I think, is trying to take us like 100 years back.

“The election of 2023 would have been the easiest election for the PDP to win because there were eight years of monumental disaster by the Buhari administration. People were fed up because the APC had nothing to offer.”

Meanwhile, Tinubu has assured that his mission remained to make the lives of Nigerians better.

President Tinubu, on Friday, after Jummat prayers in Lagos Island, thanked supporters who trooped out and hailed him.

In a brief appreciation tweet on his X handle, the President reassured his commitment to creating a better future for the citizens.
