President Joe Biden has called Trump and invited him to the White House.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has called the winner of the 2024 presidential election in the country, Donald Trump.

 

According to the Associated Press, Biden called Trump on Wednesday to congratulate him on his victory at the polls and also invited him to the White House.

 

The development comes after Democratic candidate and Vice President, Kamala Harris also called President-elect Donald Trump, who contested the 2024 US election as the Republican candidate.

Harris called Trump on Wednesday to congratulate him on his election victory.

 

Meanwhile, former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has spoken about the United States’ just concluded election and the lesson Nigeria ought to learn from it.

 

The former President, Donald Trump, of the Republican Party, defeated his opponent in the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris.

 

In a post via his X handle, Atiku, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said Nigeria has lessons to learn ahead of future elections.

 

According to him, it is the expectation of every Nigerian that the Trump administration will stand resolute in ensuring free and fair elections in Nigeria and other places in the world.
