Newsonline reports that Benue correspondent of The Authority Newspaper, Austine Tule is dead.
On learning of the exit of his husband via social media, Tule’s wife was said to have fainted. She was revived in the hospital thereafter.
A source also said Tule’s younger sister who is an athlete based abroad “is yet to be revived” after she received the sad news.
Newsonline Nigeria cannot independently comment on the cause of the death of the media practitioner as of the time of filing this report.
Friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to commiserate with the Tule family on the sad news.

“We will miss you@ home same way the pen profession will miss u.
“May the good Lord console the hearts of ur immediate family, friends, associates and the journalism family.
“See u when we meet again.”
Dan-Morgan Ihomun penned: “He was with me on Sunday to cover the event were my Community Wurukum was hosting and honouring me , He told me to remain myself but work harder , he said I will succeed.
“I just received the sad news of his demise this morning, a man of few words, a man gifted with the pen, a man of strong character and a true Benue son who toiled day and nights for the emancipation of humanity.
“Rest in Power Austine Tule.”
