FCT First Female and Indigenous Head of Service, Grace Adayilo is dead.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Grace Adayilo, the first female and indigenous Head of Service (HoS) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has reportedly passed away.

A highly placed source within the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) confirmed that Adayilo died suddenly in the early hours of Monday. As of press time, neither her family nor the FCTA has issued an official statement regarding her death.

Her last official engagement was on Thursday, representing FCT Minister Nyesom Wike at the G7 security meeting in Abuja.

Adayilo’s historic appointment as FCT HoS was approved by President Bola Tinubu in October, breaking both gender and geographical barriers within the administration. Her passing marks a significant loss for the FCT civil service and the nation.
