APC G3 Hails BOT Members Appointment Into Campaign Councils

APC G3 has hailed BOT Members’ appointment to campaign councils.

 

Newsonline reports that the APC Grassroots Governance Group also known as the APC G3 has congratulated its Board of Trustees (BoT) members over their appointments to the party’s Campaign Council.

This online news understands that the group said the appointment is a recognition of their grassroots mobilization capacity and contributions to national development.

In a statement made available to NewsOnline at the weekend, National Coordinator, APC G3, Comrade Amechi Chuks Oyema, noted that the group is blessed to have in its fold eminent Nigerians that are ready to put in all their best for the victory of APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other candidates in the election.

 

He said: “APC G3 is blessed to have Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe as Chairman of our BOT. Ambassador Ugokwe is a two-time member of the House of Representatives and later Nigeria’s ambassador to Austria.

“In his time at the House of Representatives, he attracted and facilitated numerous projects and sponsored 76 Bills between 1999 and 2007 at the 4th and 5th National Assembly respectively. He is a well-decorated professional and was once the best ambassador of Nigeria” he said.

“Dr. Rufus Ebegba, current Director-general of, the National Biosafety Management Agency is one of the most hardworking government appointees in the present dispensation.

“His agency, NBMA is working diligently in line with the present administration’s promise to deliver on food security and sufficiency.

“Dame Julie Eniekedo Donli OON, former DG, NAPTIP, and former Bayelsa Central senatorial aspirant is a grassroots politician at home with the youths and everyone.

“In 2020, she was appointed to the board of trustees for United Nations office on Drug and Crimes (UNODC) before then, she was appointed by UNESCO as a member of the project advisory committee on empowering young people in Africa through media and communication on irregular migrations. She left a mark during her time as DG of NAPTIP.

“APC G3 also notes the invaluable contributions High Chief (Prof) Eyo Etim Nyong is bringing into the party as we prepare for the 2023 elections.

“He is a pioneer member of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC board. Prof Nyong’s stewardship brought unprecedented development to Cross Rivers State with no fewer than 60 projects to his credit.

“Once famed as the mastermind behind the Niger Delta Master Plan, Prof Eyo Etim Nyong is also a High Chief in the Palace of the Obong of Calabar, a consultant and registered geologist, Prof Nyong is a household name in Cross Rivers state.

“High Chief Nyong is a source of pride to youths of not only Cross River State, but the entire South South region. His doors are open 24 hours to the people of the region. He has a history of loyalty to the party and government.

“APC G3 is privileged to have on its BOT these eminent Nigerians who continue to sacrifice for national development. They will definitely be assets to the APC in the forthcoming elections.”
