APC Chairman in Ekiti, Paul Omotoso is dead.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Ekiti State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Paul Omotoso is dead.

This Nigeria news platform gathered that Omotoso passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.

As of the time this report was filed the cause of his death is still unclear.

He was said to have complained of feeling unwell on Tuesday, which caused him to be rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.

The late Chairman has not been in the best of health since his kidnapping saga in July 2023.

Recall that the late Omotosho was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after five days.

The publicity secretary of the party in the state, Segun Dipe confirmed the incident but could not give further explanation as to the cause of Omotoso’s death or where his body was deposited.

NewsOnline Nigeria recalls that Omotoso’s death followed the passing of the Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Fatai Adams, who passed on mid-February.
