Access Bank CEO Roosevelt Ogbonna has acquired £15m luxury mansion on London’s Billionaire’s Row.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Roosevelt Ogbonna, has purchased a £15 million mansion on The Bishops Avenue, Hampstead, one of London’s most exclusive addresses.

According to City AM, the deal was finalized in August 2025, with Land Registry documents confirming the transaction. Access Bank’s UK subsidiary reportedly issued a mortgage linked to the property.

The lavish eight-bedroom residence boasts a swimming pool, spa, cinema, nine bathrooms, landscaped gardens, and a lift servicing all floors. Originally listed for £17m in 2022, the home was acquired at a discounted price amid a slowdown in London’s luxury housing market.

The Bishops Avenue, popularly known as “Billionaire’s Row,” is home to global celebrities and business moguls including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Lakshmi Mittal, and the Sultan of Brunei. Ogbonna now joins their ranks as one of its newest residents.

This marks one of only two major property transactions on the street this year, the other being an £8.8m sale in June.

Ogbonna, who became CEO of Access Bank in May 2022, has worked with the bank since 2002 and is described by the institution as “a consummate professional with a rich academic and professional background.” In August, he stepped down as a non-executive director of Access Holdings, but he continues to serve as Managing Director and CFO of Access Bank.

Access Bank remains Nigeria’s largest bank by assets and the biggest in Africa by customer base, with over 50 million clients.

The Bishops Avenue properties collectively are valued in the hundreds of millions of pounds, although many remain unoccupied and derelict.
