An All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Adamu Garba has warned the ruling party and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu not to take Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for granted ahead of the 2023 election.
Newsonline reports that Adamu also said any attempt by the ruling APC and Tinubu to disregard Peter Obi supporters, the Obidients and strategically plan may result to a loss of the election.
The ardent supporter of President Buhari and APC, Adamu said that with the wave of political tranformation across Africa which a championed by youths of Africa, any neglect of Peter Obi supporters will replicate what happened in Kenya, Zambia and Lesotho.
Adamu said, “A party, RFP, founded by Sam in March 2022 in Lesotho won the Presidency as a result of young people’s votes. A similar case happened in Kenya and Zambia, all in 2022.
“That is why we shouldn’t underestimate these obidients
“APC must have a modern strategic campaign to secure victory.”
However, the Director of Special Media Projects and Operations and New Media, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Kayode, says Peter Obi supporters, Obidients and his vice-presidential candidate, Datti Ahmed, cannot win the 2023 election.
Kayode accused Datti Ahmed of being a fasict and barbaric following his alledged sexual orientation.
Kayode said, “Peter’s running mate, Dati Ahmed, believes gays should be killed. No doubt Peter secretly shares his view. Killing people as a penalty for their sexual orientation & choices is a reflection of the fascistic & barbaric society that the Obidients want to foist on us. God forbid!”
